About Mintjmint
Mintjmint started in Garissa and has grown alongside the content teams we serve across Kenya.

Mintjmint is a content operations consultancy based in Garissa, Kenya. We help organisations — media companies, e-commerce brands, NGOs, financial services firms, and startups — build the internal systems they need to produce content reliably and at scale. That means editorial strategy, production pipeline design, team onboarding, and the performance analytics setup that tells you whether your content is actually doing its job. We don't write content for clients. We don't run social media accounts. We don't manage ad campaigns. What we do — exclusively and deliberately — is build the factory: the strategy, the workflow, the tools configuration, and the team training that lets your own people produce great content consistently, without depending on an external agency for every piece. We founded Mintjmint in 2019 with a straightforward premise: most Kenyan organisations that struggled with content did not have a creativity problem or a talent problem. They had a systems problem. Five years and more than sixty completed engagements later, that premise has held up.
We work with teams ranging from two-person content departments at regional startups to editorial teams of twenty at established media houses. Our sweet spot is organisations in the growth phase — large enough to need a system, not yet large enough to have built one properly. Geographically, most of our clients are in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Garissa, though we've run engagements fully remotely for teams in Eldoret and Malindi. Every engagement starts with a genuine discovery process — we don't assume your team's problems before we've seen them. We believe the most important thing a content system can do is transfer ownership: by the time we leave, your team should be able to run, adapt, and improve the system without us. That philosophy shapes how we design workflows (simple enough to be maintained, not clever enough to require a specialist), how we write documentation (plain language, role-specific, short), and how we run onboarding (repeated sessions, recorded, with a 30-day check-in). What results depend on: the quality of the strategy we build together, your team's willingness to adopt new habits, and the consistency with which the workflow is followed after we leave. We can build an excellent factory; what goes into it is always yours to decide.
